Prospective teaching assistants must complete a three-step process to become eligible for these positions. First, the student must complete the Teaching Assistantship Repertoire form. Secondly, the student must be taking lessons on Schedule B or C for at least one year. During that year, our faculty will train prospective teaching assistants to conduct first-rate lessons, which are based on the unique teaching system that we use at the Los Angeles Guitar Academy. Finally, the student will perform a forty-minute audition in front of the faculty. This audition will consist of the selected pieces on his or her Teaching Assistantship Form.
